Tall, flashy ad flamboyant canna lilies are perennial flowers that thrive in the heat and bloom from June thru October! (Just dead-head spent flowers). Cannas prefer full to partial-full sun and can grow up to 6′ tall! Although commonly called bulbs, they are actually rhizomes, as they will multiply beneath the soil. When you plant one, you will get many at the end of the season! Just remember to dig them up before the frost.
Cannas can be both focal points and stylish accents. They are great for tall borders or to add depth to narrow spaces.
